# Mollie Integration

Mollie is a European payment provider. With **Meteroid’s native integration**, you can use Mollie to collect payments on the invoices generated by Meteroid. Pairing Meteroid for billing with Mollie for payments gives you a fully European billing and payment stack, which is useful if digital sovereignty matters to your business. The integration enables:

* **Card payments**
* **Direct Debit** (SEPA)
* **Secure storage of payment methods**: payment details entered by your Customers in the hosted checkout or the Customer Portal are stored securely by Mollie and reused for future payments
* **Payment status synchronization**

## Prerequisites

* An active **Mollie account**.

## How to Set It Up

1. Go to `Settings > Integrations` in your Meteroid dashboard.
2. Under **Payment Providers**, select **Mollie** and click **Connect**.
3. In your Mollie dashboard, go to `Developers > API keys` and create a **standard API key**, then enter it in Meteroid.
4. Once connected, go to `Settings > Payment methods` and enable the relevant payment methods for your invoicing entity (see [Supported Payment Method](/settings/payment-methods)).
