# Stancer Integration

Stancer is a European card payments platform.

With **Meteroid’s native integration**, you can use Stancer to collect card payments on the invoices generated by Meteroid. The integration enables:

* **Card payments**
* **Secure storage of payment methods**: card details entered by your Customers in the hosted checkout or the Customer Portal are stored securely by Stancer and reused for future payments
* **Payment status synchronization**: Meteroid tracks payments made through Stancer and updates invoice statuses automatically

💡 **Important:** Stancer only supports card payments in Meteroid. To collect payments by direct debit, connect another payment provider.

## Prerequisites

* An active **Stancer account**.

## How to Set It Up

1. Go to `Settings > Integrations` in your Meteroid dashboard.
2. Under **Payment Providers**, select **Stancer** and click **Connect**.
3. Enter your Stancer **Secret key**. You can find it in the developer section of your Stancer account.
4. Once connected, go to `Settings > Payment methods` and enable **Credit Card** for your invoicing entity (see [Supported Payment Method](/settings/payment-methods)).
